Dr. Yansheng Liu

Dr. Yansheng Liu received his Ph. D. degree in Materials Science
and Engineering from Northeastern University in China. He served
the university and dedicated to the research and development
of metallurgical technology. He has industry background in continuous
casting, sheet metal rolling, wire drawing, statistic process
control and measurement system analysis. He had conducted research
at University of Kentucky and McMaster University, Canada.
He has extensive experience in materials characterization by
SEM/EBSD, TEM, X-ray diffraction and by test of physical properties.
His research interest covers process development for the aluminum
industry and modeling and control of materials behavior during
solidification, deformation and annealing.
He had recognized contributions to texture analysis technology
and its industry application. He has more than 40 papers published
and numerous presentations at TMS, ASM, ICOTOM and International
Conference on Aluminum Alloys.
