Denis W. Ray
President & CEO, Secat, Inc.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Denis is a 1970 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a BS (with honors) in Mechanical Engineering. Denis is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma engineering honor fraternities. Since that time Denis has worked for ALCOA, Reynolds Metals Company, IMCO Recycling, Commonwealth Aluminum, and Aleris International, Inc.
Beginning his career as a mechanical engineer, Denis rapidly moved into manufacturing management, location management and business unit management with ALCOA, including three years as President of Reynolds Europe in Lausanne, Switzerland and Vice President of Reynolds International, Inc.
Later, he was President of Reynolds Architectural Products and President of the Aluminum Recycling Division at IMCO. He joined Commonwealth Aluminum in 2002 and was then appointed Vice President of Manufacturing at Commonwealth, now Aleris International, Inc. Denis retired from Aleris International in March 2008. He has been active as a consultant in the aluminum industry internationally.
Denis served on the Secat Board, representing IMCO Recycling in 2000-2001 and Aleris International in 2004-2008. Denis was appointed President & CEO of Secat, Inc. in March 2009.
