Dr. Chenghe Xiao is the Technical and Laboratory Manager of Secat, Inc. He received his PhD degree in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1997. He has more than five years industrial R&D experience in a manufacturing environment and over ten years academic research experience.
He possesses strong hands-on problem solving skills in metal casting, welding, heat-treatment, materials processing developing, failure analysis and materials characterization utilizing various modern analytical techniques and instruments including scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectrum, optical image analyzers, X-ray difractometers and mechanical testing systems for materials. He is responsible for planning and carrying out all tests as per customer requirements and the procurement, operation and maintenance of all equipment.
