Barbara Tackett joined Secat in 2004 as administrative support associate to the President. A graduate of Sullivan University, Barbara comes to Secat, Inc. with a strong background in Human Resources, development and training, accounting and organizational functions. Her prior work experience includes positions at Central Bank and Trust, Trinsoft, LLC, IBM and the Lexington Philharmonic Society.

Barbara provides primary administrative support to Dr. Das and the UK Center for Aluminum Technology and interfaces with the Secat staff. She is also involved in budgeting, human resources, and organizational support. Barbara is the primary first point of contact for people calling or visiting Secat, and contributes to planning and marketing activities.
