Steven M. Abelmen
President & CEO, Pechiney Rolled Products
Prior to joining Pechiney Rolled Products in April, 2003 as President and CEO, Mr. Abelmen was President and CEO of Oxford Automotive, a stamping and fabrication supplier to most automotive OEM's, where he was responsible for 41 facilities and over 8,000 people worldwide. During this time, the company grew from $95 million to $1.1 billion through internal efforts and acquisitions. Prior to Oxford Mr. Abelmen was President of Bundy North America and Deputy CEO of Bundy International, a $600 million fluid handling business with more than 22 facilities.
Additional relevant experience includes Vice President and General Manager of Augat Wiring Systems, a $220 million automotive wiring supplier with facilities in the US and Mexico and varied operational assignments with other companies.
Mr. Abelmen attended the University of Colorado where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Webster College where he received a Master of Arts degree in Management and Human Relations.
