Randy Schumaker
Chief Management Officer

Randy W. Schumaker was chosen to be the new Chief Management Officer for Logan Aluminum Inc., effective March 1, 2005. Schumaker comes to Logan from BP North America in Chicago, where he held numerous regional and global leadership posts since starting his career in 1979.

Schumaker's 25-year career path started as a project engineer at a Toledo refinery and includes various positions in Business Development, Catalyst and Licensing Manager, and Commercial management. His most recent executive position was that of Global General Manager for BP's Performance Chemicals, located in the Chicago area. In addition to a deep and broad career of commercial and technical leadership, Schumaker has had several direct experiences in joint ventures, most recently as non-executive director for AGIC in Tokyo, Japan.

Randy Schumaker is a graduate of the Ohio State University (Chemical Engineering, 1979) and University of Toledo (MBA, 1982). He and his wife Deidre have three children- two daughters (Kelly and Erin), who are in college, and a teenage son (Colin). They relocated to the Bowling Green area from Naperville, Illinois.
