Mr. Deaton is currently Chairman/President and CEO of Central Bank & Trust Co., Lexington, Kentucky. He is also a member of the Board of Directors’ and Member of the Executive Loan Committee, along with serving on the following Boards:
- Chairman/President/CEO & Board of Director/Central Bancshares, Inc.
- Chairman and CEO/Board of Director, Central Bank, FSB (Nicholasville, KY.)
- Chairman and CEO/Board of Director, Central Bank, FSB (Georgetown, KY.)
- Board of Director, Central Bank & Trust Co. (Winchester, Kentucky)
- Chairman/Board of Director/Salt Lick Deposit Bank (Owingsville, Kentucky)
- Board of Director, Central Investment Center, Inc.
Mr. Deaton began employment at Central Bank in 1978 as Assistant Manager and teller at a branch. He was promoted to various positions within the bank throughout the next 18 years, and in January 1996, the Board named Mr. Deaton to President and CEO, and then in 2002 also named him Chairman.
Mr. Deaton is a graduate of Louisiana State University, Graduate School of Banking of the South. He also graduated from the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma.
