Denis Ray
Vice President Manufacturing, Aleris International, Inc.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Denis is a 1970 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a BS (with honors) in Mechanical Engineering. Since that time Denis has worked for ALCOA, Reynolds Metals Company, IMCO Recycling and Commonwealth.
Beginning his career as a mechanical engineer, Denis rapidly moved into manufacturing management, location management and business unit management with ALCOA, including three years as President of Reynolds, Europe in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Later, he was President, Reynolds Architectural Products, and President of the Aluminum Recycling Division at IMCO. He joined Commonwealth in 2002 and was recently appointed to his current position.
