Secat, Inc. and Illinois Institute of Technology Sign Agreement

Secat, Inc. and the Illinois Institute of Technology have agreed to enter into a strategic alliance in the field of aluminum research. Under this agreement, IIT?s Thermal Processing Center and Secat will jointly promote research and testing in the aluminum industry.

?This partnership brings together specialized knowledge and facilities required to solve Aluminum production and development issues involving thermal characteristics,? said Dr. Subodh Das, President and CEO of Secat, Inc. ?Effective heat processing is a key component of the aluminum industry, and this relationship with IIT will enable the industry to rapidly solve problems with thermal implications.?

IIT is a private, Ph.D.-granting institution with programs in engineering, science, psychology, architecture, business, design and law.
