Students & Training

The Aluminum Industry Vision identifies as one of its goals the need to "fortify academic programs to develop top science, engineering, and business graduates." Secat assists in this area by providing scholarship and assistantship opportunities, as well as summer and full time employment, to promising students at The University of Kentucky.

Secat maintains close ties with faculty in the Materials Science and Engineering programs at a number of prominent universities.

Secat identifies potential candidates for employment by bringing together Aluminum Industry resource needs and qualified students who represent the future of the industry.
