Secat Affiliates: National Laboratories
To supplement its own resources for research and testing, Secat is working with the Department of Energy National Laboratories to bring these national intellectual treasures to U.S. aluminum companies, enabling them to compete in the global market.
Secat currently has Memoranda of Understanding and Work for Others agreements in place with selected National Laboratories, covering both intellectual property and business arrangements. These laboratories have been identified as having specific equipment and staff expertise of value to the aluminum industry. This enables Secat's customers to access the extensive, sometimes one-of-a-kind capabilities of these labs for both proprietary and non-proprietary work.
